We are Stefano and Ilaria. Since 2009, Quarazzana has been our hospitality project, built around people, care and connections.

We have welcomed thousands of guests from all over the world. People who arrived for a holiday and, in many cases, became friends we have stayed in touch with.
Our journey began as a bed and breakfast and grew through agriturismo hospitality and food. Today we offer independent stays alongside Ilaria’s cooking experiences, which you can choose together or separately.
We aim to be attentive yet discreet hosts: a suggestion for your day, an ingredient to discover, a home ready to welcome you.

Two family stories
Cooking,
first of all a connection.
Ilaria’s Bonini family ran Dal Limone in Caselline, in the Florentine hills: a village shop, trattoria, general store and rooms. Her grandmother Natalina passed on the value of good ingredients and Tuscan recipes.
Elvira, Stefano’s mother and a co-owner of Quarazzana, cooked for many years at Villa San Francesco di Paola in Florence, where other family members had also worked. In Quarazzana she prepared the first dinners for guests.
These histories meet in the cooking Ilaria shares today: simple, personal and connected to the people who taught it to her.
