This notice concerns the new La Luna di Quarazzana website intended for www.quarazzana.com and its Wix Headless preview. It does not describe the separate bed-and-breakfast-lunigiana.it website referenced in the older text. It covers visitors using this website, without limiting the information to EEA or Swiss residents.

Browsing and hosting

The website is hosted on Wix infrastructure. Delivering and protecting the website entails processing technical connection data, such as IP address, request time, requested address and browser information. These data serve website delivery and security, not advertising profiling by this frontend. The lawful basis for necessary security processing is the controller’s legitimate interest in protecting the service, subject to applicable safeguards.

Your enquiry

You may enter your name, email address, preferred dates, number of guests, accommodation preference and message. The form prepares an email in your browser; it does not send a submission to a website database or save the entered details in browser storage. Information is sent to us only when you send the email from your email app. Using “Copy the message” places the prepared text in your device clipboard. Your email provider’s own privacy terms apply. We use enquiries to reply and take steps at your request before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), not for automatic newsletter enrolment or advertising.

Please do not send sensitive information

Do not include health information, allergies, identity documents, payment details or information about children beyond the guest count in this general form. Any necessary dietary or accessibility arrangements must be discussed separately using an appropriate process.

Recipients and international transfers

Only people authorised to handle enquiries and the service providers needed for hosting and email should access the data for these purposes. Competent authorities may receive information where required by law. Wix and the email provider may process data outside the EEA; the controller must verify the applicable processing agreements, locations and GDPR transfer safeguards before launch. We do not claim that all processing remains in Europe.

How long information is kept

Enquiry correspondence should be kept for the time necessary to answer and manage the request. If a booking follows, separate contractual, accounting and legal retention requirements may apply. The existing policy mentions 48 months after the service; that blanket period has not been validated for this new website. The controller must approve purpose-specific retention periods, including hosting logs and mailbox deletion procedures, before this draft becomes definitive.

Your rights

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing, by writing to the contact above. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity. Requests must generally be answered within one month; where the GDPR allows an extension, you must be informed within that initial month. You may complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority or your competent supervisory authority. Providing enquiry details is voluntary; without an address and enough information we may not be able to reply. This frontend does not make automated decisions about you.

Any future booking, analytics, advertising or newsletter integration requires a fresh review and updated information before activation.
