COOKING CLASS

If you love authentic Italian cuisine this cooking class will make you happy. You will learn my nonna recipes and local Tuscany recipes as well, which are easy to replicate at home. We will have a lot of fun in a relaxed atmosphere and many stories about Italian cuisine.

For example..did you know that Caterina de’ Medici (an Italian from Florence)  invented the bechamel ? I will share my secret with you while drinking a delicious local wine !

CHEESE FARM

LOCAL TASTE

Visit a local little cheese farm run by a family where the taste is authentic made by a local cow that was on the verge of extinction: Vacca Pontremolese , we will have a look of the cows and how they leave free in the land and taste some delicious cheese ricotta and when available gelato !

TIRAMISU' CHALLENGE

Tiramisù is the best known Italian dessert and one that people like the most probably.

Every nonna in Italy has his own recipe .

I will tell you about many recipes, one of the best ever tasted.. the one of Annamaria in Polcanto ( Tuscany) and much more .But the NEWS is what about inventing your own and challenging  with local Italian people ?

It's APERITIVO time: in Italy we have some lovely appetizer. What about a spritz with some taste of Pesto , cheese , olives and salame...maybe a hot focaccia ? This is a kind of Italy moment...we will enjoy together in XV courtyard.

FOOD LOVER

I am Ilaria, a food lover since I was a child .. I am a person to whom
when it comes to cooking the eyes shine ... I was like that even as a
child ... the first to go to the table with the cry "is ready" of my
grandmother .She had 96 years old and she had a trattoria in
Florence : I grown tasting the authentic Tuscan cook : today I am
happy to share all my secrets with people like me that love Italian
vintage style to cook ! I welcome you in my home in the north of
Tuscany in a hamlet XV dated, with an outstanding view of Apuan
Alps where the time seems to stand still, in the village cows wild
pass slowly in front of the courtyard, this is a magical place.
